Community members come together to search for Harmony Montgomery’s remains in Massachusetts – NBC Boston

Dozens of community members are set to search for the remains of Harmony Montgomery in Saugus, Massachusetts this weekend. The search will take place at the Rumney Marsh Reservation near the Saugus-Revere town line. Investigators believe Harmony was murdered in December 2019, but she was not reported missing until nearly two years later. During the trial, Kayla Montgomery revealed that Harmony’s body was hidden in various places, including a car trunk, a cooler, a ceiling vent, and a workplace freezer before Adam Montgomery disposed of it. Kayla also testified that Adam had repeatedly punched Harmony in the head as a punishment for wetting herself. In March 2020, Adam drove away with Harmony’s remains in a rental truck, but did not disclose the location he was heading to. Adam was found guilty in February of killing his 5-year-old daughter and was sentenced to 45 years to life in prison. The community’s search for Harmony’s remains highlights the community’s dedication to finding closure and justice for the tragic case. This event is a step towards bringing peace to Harmony’s memory and providing closure to those affected by the heartbreaking situation.
