The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook warning for central and southern New Hampshire as the region prepares for the first spring snowstorm of the year. The storm is expected to bring rain on Monday afternoon which will transition to snow and last through early Tuesday morning. Up to 3 inches of snow is possible in Concord and the capital region, while about an inch of snow is expected in Nashua, eastern Hillsborough County, and western Rockingham County. Wind gusts could reach up to 20 mph. The alert covers Merrimack, Hillsborough, and Rockingham counties. Tuesday will see the return of sun and warmer temperatures with highs in the upper 40s. More rain is expected on Wednesday with highs in the mid-40s. Thursday will be sunny with highs in the mid-40s, dropping to the upper 20s overnight.
