IMPACT Learning Center to Host 12th Annual Low Country Luau Fundraiser Event
IMPACT Learning Center will be hosting its 12th annual Low Country Luau fundraiser event on April 25 at Goose Pond Amphitheater. The event will feature live music, a silent auction, and delicious gulf seafood and BBQ. This fundraiser is crucial for supporting vital learning and job skill programs for Jackson County’s citizens, including computer classes, adult education, and workforce development.
Over the years, IMPACT Learning Center has made significant contributions to the community by offering PreK programs, helping adults earn their GED, and assisting area businesses with workforce development. They have also been involved in initiatives such as the CEO Expo, job fairs, and sponsoring Liberty Learning to teach students about civics, character, financial literacy, and career readiness.
The funds raised from the Low Country Luau will continue to support IMPACT Learning Center’s efforts in building a stronger and more educated community in Jackson County. Tickets for the event cost $100 each and sponsorships are available for interested individuals or organizations. Attendees are encouraged to reserve their spots early as tables are already selling out.
Amber Harrington, IMPACT board member and event coordinator, expressed excitement for the upcoming fundraiser and emphasized the importance of community support. To reserve tickets or sponsorships, individuals can contact the Impact Learning Center at (256) 218-2121 or visit their website at www.impactlearningcenter.org.
