Mary Fagan has recently joined forces with guitarist/producer Chris O’Neill, upright bassist Jock Irvine, saxophonist/flutist Greg Mostovoy, and drummer Jared Steer to form the Honey Bees Band. Together, they explore genres such as Americana, 1930’s Jazz, Western Swing, and Originals, rooted in the essence of American music. Fagan’s bluesy vocals, paired with the band’s instrumental prowess, create a vintage sound that is sure to captivate audiences.
The band performs concerts at the AIA Welcome Center, the former Big Bear Lodge, in a rustic and cozy atmosphere with table-seating for about 100 guests. Beverage service is available with donations requested, however, outside alcohol is not permitted due to state law. Guests can enjoy food from Brookline’s Finest downstairs or bring snacks from home or takeout.
