An air ambulance operated by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance carrying six people, including a pediatric patient and their escort, crashed near a mall in northeast Philadelphia. The company could not confirm any survivors, and Mayor Cherelle Parker stated that the total number of fatalities was unknown. Six individuals with crash-related injuries were taken to a hospital, where three were in fair condition and three were treated and released. The Learjet 55 was en route from Northeast Philadelphia Airport to Missouri when it crashed, killing all Mexican nationals on board. The child patient on the flight had completed life-saving treatment at Shriners Children’s hospital and was returning to Mexico. The identities of those on board have not been publicly released.
