New Hampshire Man, Already Imprisoned for Assaulting Women in Park, Faces Charges of Bestiality and Child Pornography – Boston 25 News

Nashua Man Facing Multiple Charges, Including Bestiality

NASHUA, N.H. — Shane Totman, a 30-year-old Nashua man already incarcerated for assaulting women, has been charged with several serious offenses, including bestiality and possession of child sexual abuse images. The Nashua Police Department announced the new charges on Friday, detailing that Totman faces two counts of bestiality and five counts related to child sexual abuse images, along with a controlled drug possession charge.

Totman was arrested on a warrant for these new charges after a search was conducted at his residence. He remains in custody at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections since his initial arrest on October 20. Totman declined bail on the recent charges and appeared in court later that day.

His prior arrest stemmed from a series of incidents involving assault and harassment of women at Mine Falls Park from October 11 to 16. One victim reported being grabbed from behind and pulled to the ground by a man who then fled on a bicycle. Following descriptions provided by victims, police identified Totman, who was later seen riding an electric scooter in the same area.

Video surveillance linked Totman to the assaults, revealing him wearing similar clothing during the attacks. Authorities conducted a search of his home which uncovered evidence associated with additional crimes, including electronic devices and suspected illegal drugs.

The Nashua Police Department’s Computer Forensic Unit is currently investigating the materials found during the search. Further details regarding the alleged bestiality charges have not been disclosed. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Nashua Police.

This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
