New Leadership Set at New Hampshire State House Following Elections
CONCORD, N.H. — The political landscape at the New Hampshire State House has shifted following last week’s elections, with key leadership positions now firmly established.
In the New Hampshire Senate, the Republican majority has selected Sen. Sharon Carson to serve as the new Senate President. Known for her straightforward approach and extensive work on public safety and family services reform, Carson steps into the role vacated by retiring Senate President Jeb Bradley. Taking on Carson’s previous position as majority leader will be Sen. Regina Birdsell from Hampstead.
