Music.AI, an AI-powered audio technology company, has announced a partnership with SourceAudio to integrate its stem separation technology into SourceAudio’s entertainment industry platform. This collaboration will allow SourceAudio’s 567,000 active users, including major players in streaming, film, and music, to access AI-powered audio separation capabilities.
Music.AI offers a variety of AI services for audio and music applications, including stem separation, lyrics transcription, chord recognition, beat detection, mastering, vocal synthesis, and more. The company claims to achieve the highest signal-to-distortion ratio with minimal artifacts among competitors in the field.
The partnership with SourceAudio marks a significant expansion for Music.AI, which launched in December 2023 and now processes over 2 million minutes of audio daily through its platform serving more than 48 million users. The company has processed over 1 billion minutes of audio so far and has secured strategic partnerships with companies like Masterchannel and Cyanite to enhance its capabilities.
Music.AI emphasizes an ethical approach to AI technology in the music industry, stating that they are both a tech company and musicians who respect fellow musicians, vocalists, composers, and rightsholders.
By integrating Music.AI’s stem separation technology into SourceAudio’s platform, users will now have the ability to generate stems on-demand from any content at scale, allowing them to customize soundtrack elements for visual projects and create broadcast-quality instrumentals. The partnership aims to increase creativity and productivity for both rightsholders and media company clients.
