The week will start off cold before a spring-like weather pattern takes over just in time for Halloween. Monday will bring sunny skies with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s, with lighter winds than over the weekend. Monday night will see the coldest temperatures of the season so far, dipping into the teens and low 20s for many areas.
On Tuesday, thickening clouds will keep it cool before a round of showers is expected later in the evening into early Wednesday morning. However, a warming trend will begin by the middle of the week, with temperatures possibly surging back into the 70s on Wednesday and Thursday, potentially reaching near record highs for some areas.
Showers are expected later Thursday night into Friday morning, but the rest of the weekend should be dry and cooler. Overall, it looks like a chilly start to the week will give way to more spring-like temperatures just in time for Halloween, making for a pleasant and mild end to the week.
