Multiple people died in a helicopter crash in Houston on Sunday night when the aircraft struck a radio tower and sparked a large fire. Four people, including a child, were on board the private helicopter and did not survive the crash. The Houston Fire Department responded to the scene in the city’s Second Ward neighborhood, where the fire spread to three blocks before it was extinguished. Fortunately, no one on the ground was injured in the incident. The helicopter involved was identified as a Robinson R44. The identities of the victims have not been released. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration will be investigating the crash to determine the cause.
