Princess Kate has made her first public appearance since completing chemotherapy and returning to some public duties. She attended a Sunday service at Crathie Kirk in Scotland with Prince William by her side. Kate had previously revealed in a video message that she had completed cancer treatment after undergoing abdominal surgery earlier in the year. She mentioned that her path to full recovery is long but she plans to take on a few more public engagements in the coming months. Although she is starting to look like her old self, royal contributor Katie Nicholl cautioned that Kate’s priority is her health and staying cancer free, so her public appearances may be limited. Kate recently held an Early Years meeting at Windsor Castle as part of her work with the Royal Foundation supporting various charitable projects. The absence of Kate and King Charles from public duties due to health issues has left a gap in the senior royal family members available for official engagements since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Harry and Meghan’s departure. Both Kate and Charles have resumed limited public duties following their health treatments.
