A tragic motorcycle crash on Interstate 93 in Campton, New Hampshire, resulted in the death of Anthony Caton, a motorcyclist from Round Lake, New York. The crash, which occurred on June 15, involved three bikes and left two other individuals injured. According to state police, a gust of wind caused one motorcyclist to lose control, leading to a chain reaction that resulted in the crash. In a separate incident on Route 101 in Raymond, a man from Candia, Alex J. Sitton, was injured after rolling his Jeep Grand Cherokee. State police suspect Sitton lost control of the vehicle while on an offramp, causing it to overturn into a wooded area. Sitton was taken to a hospital for treatment, and the offramp was closed for several hours during cleanup.
In other news, a man from Chester, Christian Monsini, was arrested for wrong-way drunken driving on Interstate 89. The incident resulted in a head-on collision that injured another person. Monsini faced several charges related to the crash and was arraigned in Concord District Court. Additionally, several individuals were arrested on various charges related to driving under the influence and other traffic violations in recent days, according to state police reports.
